“May sa demonyo ang baril (Guns are demonic)," this was how Manuel Pancho a security guard described the accident he witnessed in Katipunan, Quezon City where his colleague pulled a shotgun trigger by accident and leaving one hurt.
According to Pancho, he heard a loud gunshot at the entrance of the building around 9 AM on Friday morning. He found out that a bank security guard was loading his shotgun for the morning shift. Accidentally the guard pulled the trigger and the bullet landed on the floor but the shrapnel pieces were scattered causing a female customer at the ATM machine to be hit. She was bruised on her right arm and her neck.
Pancho said that although the bank guard went pale because of the accident, he immediately called the ambulance. The police also responded at the scene.
However, the bank has refused to release any statement as of the moment as the incident is still being investigated. (CA|LON)
