3 KILLED, 8 ARRESTED IN BULACAN ANTI-DRUG OPS
CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan –Three drug suspects were killed while eight others were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations conducted Wednesday in this province.
Police Colonel Chito Bersaluna, director of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office, identified the three neutralized suspects as Ryan Daquiz, a former Oplan Tokhang surrenderer and included in the drug watch list of the Pulilan Municipal Police Station; Novem Jornales, a resident of Barangay Sto. Niño, Plaridel, Bulacan; and a certain alias “Bukol”.
Investigation showed that after the consummated separate drug transactions, the three suspects engaged undercover operatives in a shootout, prompting agents to retaliate and killed them in the process.
Bersaluna said the eight other suspects were arrested in buy-bust operations conducted in the towns of Obando, Angat, Baliwag, San Rafael, and Malolos City.
They were identified as Christopher De Leon, Josefino Cruz, Princess Sweet Melody Cabardo, Margarita Perez, Nicolas San Gabriel, Julieta San Gabriel, Reynaldo De Leon, and Christian Paraiso.
Confiscated from the arrested suspects during the operations were 15 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, one motorcycle without plate number and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination while the suspects are now facing criminal charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (PNA)
