LEGAZPI CITY — Police anti-narcotics operatives collared on Wednesday three alleged illegal drug peddlers in separate operations in two Camarines provinces and Sorsogon, a report said on Thursday.

Ranilo Gegantone, 44, alias “Angan” of Barangay Zone 1 in Bulan, Sorsogon was caught selling a sachet of shabu to an undercover cop in the said village around 10 a.m. Wednesday. The suspect was ranked 7th in the watch list of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in the province.

In Labo town, Camarines Norte, Arnel Laron, 48, of Barangay Malasugui, was nabbed in a buy-bust operation at around 4:30 p.m. Seized from his possession was a sachet of shabu worth PHP2,000.

Meanwhile, in Ocampo town, Camarines Sur, Erwin Calupit, 35, of Barangay Hanawan, was arrested in a buy-bust around 10:45 p.m. Seized from him were four sachets of shabu worth PHP5,000.

The suspects are now detained and facing charges for selling and possessing illegal drugs. (PNA)
