CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga -- Elementary and high school students are set to benefit from the brand-new service vehicles provided by the provincial government of Pampanga to all school districts of the Department of Education (DepEd) in this province.

Governor Lilia Pineda, together with School Supt. Leonardo Zapanta of the DepEd Division of Pampanga and other local officials, led the distribution of 33 service vehicles, worth a total of PHP26.4 million, at the provincial capitol grounds here Monday.

Each school district received a Mitsubishi L300 FB Exceed Model van with 17 seats and dual air conditioner.

Pineda assured that the provincial government will continue to give its full support and commitment to the activities and programs of DepEd-Pampanga.

On the other hand, Zapanta thanked the lady governor for the brand-new vehicles and continuous support of the provincial government on the education of the youth.

“The vehicles will be useful for the students since this will serve as their transportation to and from their respective schools,” he said. (PNA)
