LEGAZPI CITY -- Anti-narcotics operatives dismantled two suspected illegal drug dens and arrested five people, including two sisters, in simultaneous drug operations in Barangay Tinago, this city on Thursday night.

Drug operatives raided the houses of Analiza Magnaye alias “Baby Ruth”, 47, and her sister, Alona Llorca, alias “Madam”, 50, said Christian Frivaldo, acting regional director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 5 (Bicol) on Friday.

A total of PHP272,000 worth of suspected shabu were confiscated from the two houses.

Magnaye and Llorca were subjects of a search warrant for operating a drug den and for illegal drug possession.

Aside from the sisters, also arrested were Louie San Juan alias “Kulot”, Justine de La Rosa and Angeline Bodopol, all residents of Barangay Tinago, who were all arrested while having a pot session at Llorca’s house.

PDEA operatives seized six sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 15 grams worth PHP102,000 during the raid at Magnaye’s house at about 11:30 p.m.

The raid at Llorca’s residence, meanwhile, yielded 20 pieces of transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 25 grams worth PHP170,000. (PNA)
