ABRA MAYOR BET SLAPS BECAUSE OF VOTE-BUYING FIASCO



VIGAN CITY – One mayoralty bet in Bangued, Abra is under fire for slapping three victims because of vote-buying allegations.

Police Major Dominador de Guzman, chief of Bangued, Abra municipal station said that he received a report regarding former Bangued Mayor Ryan Luna slapping when the latter had asked three locals which mayor they prefer in the upcoming May 13 elections.

Guzman said, that it is believed that Luna slapped three minors, knowing that there are vote-buying going on in the home of Bangued Brgy. chairman Loreno Laureta in Bangbangar, Bangued, Abra,

The slapped minors are Drexell Festejo Bermudez, 14 yrs. Old; Rolly Benosa Bernardez, same age with Bermudez; and Jayrome Berras Bello, 22 yrs. Old.

 

According to the reports, the three victims were allegedly caught campaigning for Luna’s mayoral rival, re-electionist Dominick Valera.

 

Per Bombo Radyo Vigan, who first presented the fiasco to the public, statement is still pending from the camp of the accused mayoral candidate.
