BACOLOD City Hall employees will receive an additional bonus of P30,000 next week.
Of the amount, P25,000 is for Collective Negotiation Agreement Incentive (CNAI), while the P5,000 is for the Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI).
Mayor Evelio Leonardia has issued Memorandum Order No. 157 Tuesday [Dec. 11] directing all City Hall department and office heads to process the CNAI and PEI of all their qualified employees.
Leonardia said, “We give all the benefits to employees based on two conditions – if there is legal basis and if there is availability of funds – following the guidelines set by Malacañang and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).”
The mayor said that under DBM Budget Circular No. 2018-5 dated Nov. 14, 2018, the CNAI “shall not exceed P25,000” per qualified employee.
Entitled to receive the CNAI and PEI are regular, contractual, and plantilla casual employees.
Under the budget circular of the DBM, both incentives shall be released not later than Dec. 15, 2018.
Meanwhile, under the DBM Budget Circular No. 2017-4 dated Dec. 4, 2017, employees who have rendered at least a total or aggregate of four months as of Nov. 30 shall be entitled to a PEI of P5,000.
Those who rendered less than 4 months of service are entitled to a “pro-rated” PEI.
The bonuses are on top of the 14th month bonus and P5,000 cash gift that the qualified City Hall employees received last November.
Last year, the Bacolod City Hall employees received the same amount of bonuses.
