LAOAG CITY—The Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center is currently staging a photo exhibit to raise more funds in support of children with cancer in the province.

Dubbed as “Arapaap: A Child’s Dream” photo exhibit, the fundraising activity aims to put up a trust fund for cancer patients and create a Pediatric Oncology Treatment Play Center at the Batac hospital.

Dr. Maria Lourdes Otayza, Chief of the MMMHMC said the project is in cooperation with the Limitless Team, Salun-at Foundation and the Ilocos Norte Medical Society to give a smile and hope for the children with cancer.

To date, the Batac hospital has established its cancer center equipped with modern technology and therapy for cancer treatment.

“This is a big help for the children not just in this season of Christmas but at all times,” said Otayza as she expressed gratitude to all who extended support to the fund-raising drive.

Featuring at least five Ilocos couturiers, Robinsons Place Ilocos Norte, Ayat and TriNorth, the photo exhibit is open until December 31, 2018 at Robinsons Place Ilocos Norte located at new building.

For inquiries and donations, MMMHMC representatives are available at the exhibit site or call hospital hotline numbers (077) 600-8000. (PNA)
