Central Visayas unveiled the finest young ladies that has ever hit the stage: six hopefuls stood out beyond the pre-qualifying level—now ready to compete for the nationals of this year’s Miss Teen Philippines search.
These six aspirants are now official Miss Teen Philippines 2019 candidates: Kylah Sanchez, Nicole Borromeo, Kaye Rollins, Olive May Bihag, Leigh Chanelle Ong and Marie Niere.
These young Cebuana finalists proved that they know what they are joining—not only to rank themselves for their beauty but also to prove that they are also observant and knowledgeable of social issues the Philippines is enduring right now.
One of the candidates, Ong, a 16-year old finalist told her experience and how important Miss Teen Philippines for young females aspiring to join pageants.
“I’ve learned that whatever your dream you have right now, you should work hard for it and do everything you can. Give 101 percent,” Ong explained when asked in the Q&A portion if she would have superpowers and what would it be.
Ong, together with the five finalists will compete in Manila on May 8, alongside with the Miss Teen Philippines from all over the country.
Awardees also on the pre-qualifiers were Cassandra Margaret Reed for Miss Beauty Affair; Maria Milkhielyn Enrique for Miss League Magazine; and Christina Marie Schott for AD Models Discovery. Afrifina Smith, Den Claire Petralba, Maria Bethel Rosco and Maria Mercy Bacarisas.
