DAY CARE CENTERS, WAITING SHEDS BUILT IN LAS PIÑAS
LAS PIÑAS CITY – The Las Piñas government constructed day care centers and waiting sheds in certain parts of the city in a bid to improve the lives of residents.
Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar initiated the construction of day care centers in all barangays in order to provide early child education to children.
These centers, which also serve as the second home of children, equip them with enough knowledge to secure their future. Aside from free education, the local government holds regular feeding program for young residents.
The city council also erected waiting sheds located in various places in the city which serve as a place for commuters waiting for a ride or wanting to take a rest.
Building day care centers and waiting sheds are part of the local government’s ongoing infrastructure development program which Aguilar initiated when she assumed the post years ago.
Meanwhile, the city mayor recently officiated the first mass civil wedding for this year which took place at the Las Piñas City Hall.
Aguilar and her daughter, April Aguilar, sent their felicitations to 10 couples and reminded them of the significance of marriage in their lives.
The local government is regularly holding its Mass Wedding held at the city hall every Tuesday.
