EXPECT HEAVY TRAFFIC IN MARCOS HIGHWAY
MARIKINA CITY – The city government warned motorists of the heavy traffic flow along Marcos Highway because of the repair works in Light Rail Transit (LRT) posts in the area.
(We inform the public of the repair of LRT posts along Marcos Highway from Masinag. We expect a heavy traffic and increase in the volume of vehicles entering Marikina City.)
(Motorists believe this is the easiest way to reach Antipolo. We request for a little understanding and rest assured that all OPSS and Traffic Enforcer people are working to speed up the flow of traffic. We remind everyone to exercise caution.)
Earlier, the city government, in partnership with the Blue Company and San Miguel Beer Corp., staged a night of live band performances, food and drinks that left the audience wanting for more.
Hundreds partied the Thursday night away during the Marikina Music and Beer Fest, enjoying a bunch of food and drinks avenue where a number of new restaurants, bars and coffee shops have opened up recently.
The event was held to promote the area of Gil Fernando as a food hub of Marikina, as well as to build a sense of togetherness within the community.
