The hospital will cater to the medical needs of the residents of Mindoro and other neighbouring provinces, partially addressing the present gap in bed-to-patient ratio of 1:370 and 1:210 in Oriental and Occidental Mindoro, respectively.
The MMCCI hospital will have a 200-bed capacity and shall be equipped with services that will qualify the institution to a Level II category.
The hospital will be strategically located along the National Highway, Barangay Masipit, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. The rest of the loan will help finance the purchase of advanced medical technology so that the hospital can be at par with Metro Manila’s hospitals.
MMCCI was founded by 50 medical doctors with different specializations and seven non-medical shareholders with expertise in the fields of business, law, and architecture.
