MAKATI CITY – The Makati City government has extended work hours to accommodate applications for renewal of business permits and tax payments.
Upon receiving orders from Makati City Mayor Abigail Binay, the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) and other frontline offices will be open after office hours and on weekends until January 20 to process renewal applications.
Before 2018 ends, Binay had instructed the concerned offices to render overtime services for the benefit of taxpayers.
“We owe it to our taxpayers who have contributed significantly to the city’s continued financial stability and growth,” she added.
BPLO chief Maribert Pagente said the concerned offices will be open to serve taxpayers beyond office hours at the ground floor lobby of Makati City Hall Building II.
