Once again, customers of Maynilad Water Services, Inc. can avail of its septic tank cleaning services for free this January.

The West Zone concessionaire announced that residential and semi-business customers from certain parts of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Quezon City, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, and in Cavite province can avail of its desludging services at no extra cost.

The free service covers Barangays 19 and 20 in Caloocan; Baritan and Catmon in Malabon; Brgy. Sipac-Almacen in Navotas and in Barangay Bagong Silangan in Quezon City may avail of this cleaning service

Customers in the south may also avail of this service, particularly those from: Almanza Uno and Dos in Las Piñas; Bayanan in Muntinlupa; Baclaran in Parañaque; Ligas III in Bacoor, Cavite; Bayan Luma III in Imus, Cavite; and in Barangays 13, 23 and 38 in Cavite City.

The service usually costs about P4,000 per truck.

Maynilad’s sanitation program is part of the effort to lessen pollution loading into our river systems, “We ask our customers to avail of this service to protect community health and the environment.” Maynilad President and Chief Executive Officer Ramoncito Fernandez said.

Those who want to avail themselves of the septic tank cleaning service may call the Maynilad Hotline 1626.

Under its concession agreement with the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), Maynilad services cities of Manila (certain portions), Quezon City (certain portions), Makati (west of South Super Highway), Caloocan, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Valenzuela, Navotas and, Malabon, all in Metro Manila.

It also caters to those residing in the cities of Cavite, Bacoor and Imus, and the towns of Kawit, Noveleta, and Rosario, all in the province of Cavite.
