Maynilad Water Services, Inc., the West Zone concessionaire of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), is providing septic tank cleaning services to its residential and semi-business customers this month.
In a statement on Thursday, Maynilad said residents in portions of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Quezon City, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, and in Cavite province can avail of the desludging services without paying extra charges.
The cleaning service normally costs about ₱4,000 per truck.
In particular, this is for customers residing at Barangays 19 to 22, 28, 38 to 46, 133 to 135, 140 to 149 in Caloocan; Baritan, Bayan-bayanan, Catmon, Concepcion, Maysilo, Muzon and Niugan in Malabon; Bagumbayan North, Bangculasi, Daanghari, Navotas East, Navotas West, Sipac-Almacen and Tangos in Navotas; and in Bagong Silangan, Batasan Hills, Capri, Commonwealth and Holy Spirit in Quezon City
Customers in the south may also avail of this service, particularly those from: Almanza Uno and Dos, Pamplona Uno to Tres and Pulang Lupa Uno and Dos in Las Piñas; Bayanan, Poblacion and Sucat in Muntinlupa; Baclaran, Don Bosco and Santo Niño in Parañaque; Habay I, Ligas III, Molino I and San Nicolas III in Bacoor, Cavite; Barangays 6, 10-A and 10-B, 13, 23, 38, 42-M, 44, 45-M and 46 in Cavite City; Bayan Luma III, IV and VI, Bucandala II and Malagasang II-A, II-B, II-D to II-G in Imus, Cavite; and Toclong in Kawit, Cavite.
Maynilad President and Chief Executive Officer Ramoncito Fernandez emphasized that the firm’s sanitation program is part of the effort to lessen pollution loading into our river systems.
“We ask our customers to avail of this service to protect community health and the environment,” he said.
