Maynilad Water Services, Inc. said portions of Metro Manila will experience little to no water starting Friday supply due to higher demand.

“Increased demand for water owing to the summer heat has caused the water level in our reservoirs to go down quicker than usual. To prevent the depletion of our stored water, we are constrained to implement a water service interruption tomorrow morning, April 5, 2019, between the off-peak hours of 12 m.n. and 4 a.m.,” Maynilad said in its advisory.

“This way, we can refill our reservoirs and ensure the availability of water supply during peak hours,” it added.

Below are the list of affected areas:

  • Caloocan City: Barangays 166 (Caybiga), 167, 169, 171, 174-178, and Llano
  • Quezon City: Barangays Bagong Silangan, Batasan Hills, Capri, Commonwealth, Greater Lagro, Gulod, Holy Spirit, Kaligayahan, Nagkaisang Nayon, North Fairview, Nova Proper, Pasong Putik, Payatas, San Agustin and Sta. Monica
  • Valenzuela City: Brgys. Gen. T. De Leon and Marulas

Maynilad is encouraging customers residing in these villages to store sufficient water for the duration of the service interruption.

“We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” it added.
