Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Ed Monreal examined the situation at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Monday.
There were passengers stranded at the NAIA and were transported to another gate in the last minute; to resolve the problem, Monreal called the airlines to checked what happened.
MIAA was hopeful that the airlines could sustain the demands and requirement of the traveling party. Monreal said three to four o’clock in the morning were the peak hours for domestic travel.
He clarified the issue regarding the delayed flights. Monreal said that there were two cycles of general aviation that would help the passengers because commercial flights were their priority; the airlines’ situation should also be considered. (CHAY ALDAY/LEAGUE ONLINE NEWS)
