MUNTINLUPA TO PROVIDE 700 HOUSING UNITS TO EMPLOYEES
MUNTINLUPA CITY – The Muntinlupa City government said it will donate 700 housing units to the city government’s employees.
Muntinlupa Mayor Jaime Fresnedi signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board and PAG-IBIG Fund officials for the construction of 700 houses.
The project was initiated following the local government’s partnership with the HLURB and PAG-IBIG Fund to construct a housing village for the former’s workers.
A health center and a day-care facility shall also rise in the 4.3-hectare land in Lakeview in Barangay Putatan.
Earlier, the Peace and Order Council led by Fresnedi held its regular meeting which was attended by City Administrator Allan Cachuela, barangay captains, department heads, police, and other members of the council.
During the meeting, they discussed security measures for the Christmas season as well as maintaining peace and order in Muntinlupa City during this season.
They also discussed the training workshop for doctors, medical personnel, and social workers as part of the local government’s efforts to implement a holistic recovery and rehabilitation program for drug dependents in the city.
It was attended by 12 doctors, six nurses, two midwife practitioners, four social workers, and two members of the Muntinlupa Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Office joined the seminar.
