NAVOTAS CITY GOV’T BAGS HIGHEST AUDIT

NAVOTAS CITY – For four consecutive years, Navotas City Representative John Rey Tiangco said the local government received unqualified opinion – or the highest audit rating – from the Commission on Audit (COA) for its financial statements for 2018.

The city government, he said, clinched the highest distinction from the country’s auditor from 2015 to 2018.

Unqualified opinion, also called unmodified opinion, is the highest audit rating that can be rendered by an auditor after concluding that the financial statements of the audited entity are presented fairly and in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles.

Meanwhile, Navotas City Mayor Tobias Tiangco has vowed to improve the livelihood and services provided to all residents.
