CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY -- The National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) 10 (Northern Mindanao), headed by Director Abdulnasser Masorong, through the Settlement Division and in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection, conducted a Lecture and Training on Fire Suppression and Prevention on Friday.
The activity was held at the office of NCMF -10 in Cagayan de Oro City, according to Dr. Dimapuno Datu Ramos, director of the NCMF Bureau of External Relations.
Ramos said the activity was attended by NCMF employees, community leader affiliates of the NCMF, and other tenants of the PFIC Building.
“This is in line with the directives of Secretary Saidamen B. Pangarungan to continue building ties with other government agencies and members of the Muslim and non-Muslim communities in their respective regions.
The activity also aimed to teach the NCMF employees and affiliates regarding the current updates on safety measures that would be helpful in fire prevention in their communities,” he said.
Ramos also thanked the BFP-10 “for their time and expertise, and are grateful for the chance to strengthen ties between the two agencies.”
