NEW FAMILY PARK OPENS IN VALENZUELA CITY
VALENZUELA CITY – A new family park has risen in Valenzuela City, boasting of a nature-centered open space that is free to the general public.
The local government recently inaugurated the Valenzuela City Family Park located in Barangay Karuhatan.
Sitting on a 1.1-hectare property formerly owned by the Far East Broadcasting Company (FEBC), the park is walking distance from MacArthur Highway, just past the 3S (Sentro ng Sama-samang Serbisyo) Center Karuhatan.
With close to a hundred century-old tree, this is the city’s greenest project to date.
The park features a playground, interactive fountain, and aviary built in the park can keep kids entertained for hours on end.
It also has fitness machines and enough space to bike, jog, walk pets, and do aerobic exercises, a food park with a variety of cuisines to choose from, an amphitheater, and restrooms.
With full-time security, CCTV monitoring and maintenance, safety and orderliness are round the clock. It is also pet-friendly, bike-friendly and 100-percent accessible to persons with disabilities (PWDs).
