 BACOLOD City – Senator Cynthia Villar said on April 8, 2019 that the national government has allotted P1.5 billion for the establishment of farm schools all over the country.

Villar was here as guest of honor and speaker during the opening program of the 26th Panaad sa Negros Festival at Panaad Park and Stadium.

Villar said the farm schools will guide trainors who will eventually go back to their respective localities to train other farmers.

She also assured that she would initiate more measures that would help the farmers such as mechanized farming .

Villar on the other hand lauded the Panaad Festival, which she said is a good tourism promotional venture for the province of Negros Occidental.
