The Philippine National Police (PNP) and Counter Intelligence Task Force (CITF) joined forces for an entrapment operation in Baguio City which resulted in the arrest of senior police officer Lt. Col. Allan Docyogen, chief of Baguio Police Intelligence Unit.
Docyogen was caught in the act during the entrapment operation for alleged extortion after receiving the 50,000 Php marked money from the complainant.
According to PNP Chief Police General Oscar Albayalde, the complainant called the CITF and said that "Docyogen was demanding 200,000 Php from the complainant after he was arrested by the personnel of CIU, Baguio CPO by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Lucena City RTC for Robbery in exchange for not being arrested again for his other crimes and not being killed by the said PCO."
At the moment the suspect is under the custody of CITF dor filling of appropriate charges.
