TEODORO AFFIRMS ORDERLY, PEACEFUL MARIKINA CITY

MARIKINA CITY – Marikina City Mayor Marcelino Teodoro has vowed to maintain an orderly and peaceful environment in the city.

Teodoro cited several projects undertaken by the local government which aims to improve the livelihood of Marikina City residents such as road maintenance, repair and widening works; as well as upkeep of Freedom Park and establishments including Kapitan Moy and Marikina Sports Center.

The mayor said he is intensifying police visibility in the city to avert untoward incidents especially this Christmas season.

I am implementing these measures as a father to my two kids and as father to Marikina City),” Teodoro said.

(I know what you feel as parents. We want no harm for our children, so I am making sure that everything in Marikina is safe, secure, and secure so they grow up in a clean and peaceful environment.)

Earlier this month, the local government inaugurated the Palay Creek Linear Park in Barangay Tumana to provide a safe recreational area for residents in the area.
